Job Summary
Provide physical therapy services planned and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment. Confer regularly regarding patient progress, questions, and concerns while assisting with cleaning, equipment maintenance, and adaptive equipment acquisition. Maintain and submit accurate treatment and billing documentation adhering to all state, federal, and company compliance standards. Participate in internal staff development and obtain required continuing education to enhance clinical skills. Serve as the primary therapist across the treatment plan in real-world home and community settings for patients recovering from stroke, TBI, or SCI. No weekends or OASIS coverage; flexible PRN hours created by the provider.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
- Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
- Serve as primary therapist across the treatment plan
- Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment
- Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient's plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
- Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
- Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail
- No weekends

Desired Qualifications
- Neuro rehab experience preferred (stroke, TBI, SCI)
- A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
- Enjoys individual, functional therapy in real-world settings
- You enjoy flexibility, clinical autonomy, and working on a collaborative rehab team
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
