Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant role in an on-site clinical setting with ProgressiveHealth of Indiana. Responsibilities include delivering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients with injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, aiming to restore function, reduce pain, and support safe transitions to longer-term care. Collaborates with therapists and physicians within care pathways, utilizes Rehab Technicians, and ensures proper documentation in line with policies and regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree as a PTA, state licensure/certification/registration in good standing (or the ability to obtain), CPR/AED/BLS certification (or ability to obtain), and strong professional communication and computer skills. The position emphasizes productivity targets, patient care quality, team collaboration, and adherence to confidentiality across an on-site environment in Washington, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- state licensure/certification/registration in good standing or ability to obtain
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- ability to stand/walk/sit throughout shift
- professional written and verbal communication
- strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
