Job Summary
Lead the Physical Therapist Assistant program by providing overall academic and administrative leadership, developing and revising curriculum to ensure alignment with accreditation standards, and supervising faculty recruitment, orientation, and evaluation. Coordinate clinical education experiences with sites, monitor student progress and retention, and analyze outcomes such as licensure pass rates for reporting. Manage laboratory equipment safety, oversee budgeting, convene the Program Advisory Committee, and enforce institutional policies to maintain a professional learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Current, valid, and unrestricted license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state(s) in which the program operates
- Contemporary expertise in physical therapy education and practice, maintained through continuing education
- Minimum of five (5) years of full-time post-licensure clinical experience as a PT or PTA

- Doctoral degree
- Prior PTA or PT program teaching experience
- Administrative, educational, and supervisory experience appropriate to program leadership
