Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT. Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance care services. Communicate consistently with the supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment, reassessment, and treatment plan modifications. Participate in patient, family, student, coworker, and self-education. Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice. Requires current state licensure or eligibility and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment
