Job Summary
Conduct post-surgical orthopedic physical therapy for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities while maintaining positive interactions with centers and staff. Manage coverage for outpatient orthopedic teams during evening and weekend hours, with compensation of $33-40/hour based on experience. This role pairs with NovaCare Rehabilitation's outpatient orthopedic team to help patients return to athletics, work, and daily life.
Required Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
- PRN schedule availability
- Evenings and weekend hours availability
