Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) assists the supervising Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy treatments to patients, implementing care plans including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education, and applying modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Responsibilities include instructing patients and families on home exercise programs, documenting patient responses, maintaining a safe and stocked treatment area, and performing clerical duties as needed. Requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and a current state PTA license. Works in Turlock, CA in a PRN, on-site capacity with focus on safe rehabilitation, patient education, and collaboration with the care team.
