Job Summary
PTA assists the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy treatments to patients, implementing treatment plans (ther exercises, gait training, neuromuscular re-education), applying modalities (heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation), educating patients and families on home exercise programs, documenting progress, maintaining a safe and properly stocked treatment area, and performing clerical duties as needed under supervision. Must hold an accredited PTA credential and current state license; position includes PRN scheduling and a focus on rehabilitation and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited PTA program
- Current physical therapy license for state of operation
- Ability to multitask
