Job Summary
Provide treatment per the established plan of care and in accordance with physician orders, assisting in identifying goals and selecting appropriate interventions. Continuously assess changes in functional deficits to adjust treatment, while providing education to residents, families, caregivers, and staff. Collaborate with therapists on observations, progress, and plan updates, ensuring accurate documentation and billing in the electronic medical record. Demonstrate knowledge of payer sources and regulatory requirements, coordinating supervisory visits and communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current licensure in the state(s) of practice as required
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
