Physical Therapist Assistant - Part Time

Job Summary
Observe patients before, during, and after therapy to report status updates and document responses to treatment. Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and perform techniques including massage, stretching, and mobility support. Assist patients with devices and equipment such as walkers and help them regain movement and manage pain. Educate patients and family members on post-treatment expectations and home care while maintaining clean, organized treatment areas. Adhere to all HIPAA and OSHA regulations and perform other related duties as assigned. This part-time role is based in Broadview Heights, Ohio, supporting a physician-owned team focused on community health and wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand, and document patient information clearly
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Commitment to high‐quality, patient‐centered care
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
- Graduate of a CAPTE‐accredited Physical Therapist Assistant associate degree program
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Ability to view computer screens for long durations
- Ability to lift or assist patients, medical equipment, or supplies — generally up to 25–50 pounds, as needed to support safe and effective care
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical rotation experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings
