Job Summary
PTA for outpatient physical therapy programs. Under direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, follows the Plan of Care, documents in the EMR, educates and counsels patients on exercises and recovery, assists with equipment and therapy sessions, maintains patient confidentiality, and supports clinic operations while contributing to a collaborative, patient-focused team. Requires NY PTA license and hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities. Strong communication, instructional skills, and ability to coordinate care with licensed therapists and non-licensed staff are essential.
