Job Summary
Treat patients in an outpatient setting by assessing clinical signs, modifying treatment plans, and educating patients and families. Utilize clinical reasoning to determine courses of action within a human movement framework, documenting functional limitations and communicating status changes to the physical therapist. Complete daily documentation in compliance with standards, participate in quality improvement through chart reviews, and engage in clinical education for students and staff. Actively contribute to community outreach and in-services. Requires current California State License, BLS certification, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- One to two years related experience
- Current California State License
- Current BLS Certification
