Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant in outpatient care under licensed PT supervision. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, document changes, train patients and caregivers on exercises and equipment, supervise aides/students/volunteers, and contribute to discharge planning across all ages. Requires an Associate’s degree in an approved therapy program, Maryland PTA license (or temporary license pending exam/reciprocity), current BLS/CPR, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to use point-of-care documentation systems. Evening/weekend shifts may apply as part of the role in a community-focused health system.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Arts degree from an approved therapy program
- Maryland PTA license (or temporary license pending exam/reciprocity)
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to use point-of-care documentation systems
