Physical Therapist Assistant - Otterbein Staffing Agency

Provide physical therapy services to home health patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist; perform physical therapy procedures in the patient's home; administer non-complex therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients with relatively stable conditions; assist and motivate patients in improving functional mobility and independence; teach basic body mechanics to patients and families; instruct patients and family members in the proper use and care of prosthetic devices and therapeutic appliances; observe and document patient progress and response to treatment, reporting, findings and any condition changes to the supervising Physical Therapist; modify the Home Health Plan of Treatment as authorized by the physician and Physical Therapist; participate in home health care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings; communicate plan of care updates to patients and families; prepare and submit clinical documentation and progress notes in a timely manner in accordance with Otterbein Home Health policies and state/federal regulations; complete a minimum of twelve (12) hours of in-services annually
