Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT. Consistently communicate with the supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment, reassessment, treatment plan modifications, and other interventions requiring therapist direction. Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance care services. Participate in the education of patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice. This per diem role at Select Rehabilitation Hospital in Denton, Texas, supports individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment
