Job Summary
Implement patient treatment plans to facilitate increased independence and functioning under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Work with the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with patient needs, assisting with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in treatment skills and techniques. This PRN role offers excellent training, a positive work environment, and competitive pay within a family of skilled nursing facilities focused on uplifting residents.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice
- Requires good organizational and time management skills
- Requires good verbal and written communication skills
