Physical Therapist Assistant (License)

Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, managing delegation and direction of supportive personnel for assigned patients. Consistently communicate with the supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to ensure identification of needs for assessment, reassessment, and modification of treatment plans. Utilize diagnostic and interventional equipment to work with specialty-trained clinicians treating a variety of diagnoses, while participating in education for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. Requires current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant and BLS certification.
