Job Summary
Conduct high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, implementing treatments in accordance with state practice acts and Select Medical policies. Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients to enhance client relations while ensuring all care aligns with the principals of physical therapy. Work a Monday-Friday schedule at the KORT outpatient orthopedic center in Mt. Washington, KY, with a starting compensation of $23.50/hour and potential sign-on bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Outpatient clinical rotation if a current student
- Outpatient experience in the last 5 years if a licensed clinician
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
