Job Summary
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with physical therapy principles and Select Medical policies. Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act. Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients to enhance client relations with staff. Requires a valid state PTA license, national examination certification, and CPR certification. Full-time schedule Monday through Friday at Old Brownsboro Crossing, Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Outpatient clinical rotation if a current student
- Outpatient experience within the last 3 years if practicing clinician
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
