Job Summary
Provide clinical treatment to pediatric patients within the home health setting under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Direct patients and caregivers according to treatment plans to restore and enhance performance while consulting on progress and maintaining appropriate records. Coordinate care with office staff and disciplines, complete documentation in a timely manner, and manage a caseload with adequate productivity. Attend continuing education activities, maintain supplies and equipment, and serve as a backup service provider for other caseloads as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence
- Effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction
- Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to perform record keeping
- Ability to perform routine database activity
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred
