Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Key responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with the rehabilitation team, assisting during evaluations and complex procedures, and instructing patients and caregivers in the treatment program. Candidates must be graduates of accredited programs and possess the necessary state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
