Job Summary
Conduct patient care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, implementing treatment programs and assisting with treatment goal changes while considering patient age and developmental level. Coordinate clinical activities through communication with patients, families, therapists, team leaders, and other healthcare staff. Document care in medical records and complete patient care forms in compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies. Collaborate with support staff, volunteers, and students to ensure efficient clinical activity and quality care. Requires a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Virginia with effective communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
