Job Summary
Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist, utilizing techniques appropriate for the patient population. Document all treatment interventions given and coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel. Requires Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice PTA credentialing and current BLS certification. Full-time schedule at Ascension's Inpatient Rehabilitation facility in Pensacola, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS Provider
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High school diploma or GED
