Job Summary
Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving patient well-being while following the established plan of care. Observe, record, and report to the supervising PT, nurse supervisor, and/or physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in condition. Coordinate care with other healthcare team members and instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapy areas within your scope. Follow all state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home care, performing only procedures you are qualified and trained to execute. Available to work a weekend rotation. Hourly pay ranges from $23.41 to $41.83 based on full-time employment, with an additional $7,500 sign-on bonus for external employees. Requires current licensure, CPR certification, and a dependable vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Available to work a weekend rotation
