Job Summary
Provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist, treating individuals within established plans of care to relieve pain and restore function using exercise, massage, and specialized equipment. Direct patients in active and passive exercises, gait training, and activities of daily living while observing and documenting patient reactions and condition changes. Teach self-care techniques to patients and caregivers and arrange for necessary equipment usage. Complete accurate clinical notes and required documentation in a timely manner. This full-time home health role is based in the Upper Valley, offering a work/life balance with broad independence within a cohesive team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold a compact license
- Graduate of an accredited school as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Unencumbered PT license in VT and NH or compact
- Driver's license
- Minimum requirements on car insurance
- Clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience as a PTA in a home health care setting
