Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision, including modalities, manual techniques, and exercise regimens. Instruct patients on functional activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance. Document daily interventions and patient responses in charts. Educate patients and caregivers on care plans while monitoring treatment precautions and reporting changes to licensed providers. Maintain valid PTA licensure, CPR certification, and a driver's license. Located in Fairview, OR, this full-time role supports Adventist Health's home health and hospice agencies across the Pacific Northwest.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' technical experience
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
