Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision, including modalities, manual techniques, and exercise regimens. Instruct patients on functional activities like bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance. Observe treatment precautions, monitor patient responses, and report changes to licensed providers. Deliver daily chart documentation for acute and outpatient interventions. Educate patients and caregivers on care plans while assessing their learning progress. Maintain a valid driver's license, CPR/BLS certification, and state licensure. Located in Ridgefield, WA, with full-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' technical experience
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
