Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under licensed physical therapist supervision, utilizing modalities, manual techniques, and exercise protocols to guide patients through bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance activities. Document daily interventions and patient responses in charts while educating patients and caregivers on functional skills. Mentor staff on technical skills and report changes in patient status to nurses and supervisors. Requires PTA licensure in applicable states, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role based in West Linn, OR, with mandatory vaccinations and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' technical experience
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
