Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision, including modalities, manual techniques, and exercise regimens. Guide patients through functional activities like bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance. Instruct caregivers on patient care while documenting interventions and reporting changes in patient status. Mentor staff on technical skills and perform other assigned duties. Requires PTA licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role in Lebec, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' technical experience
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
