Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position in Home Health across multiple states. Provides physical therapy treatments under supervision of licensed physical therapists, using modalities, manual techniques and common exercises; guides patients through bed mobility, transfers, gait and balance activities; may mentor staff. Requires PTA licensure in applicable states, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license aged 21+. Requires at least a high school diploma or GED; an associate/technical degree is preferred. Must be able to document interventions, educate patients and caregivers, and perform other duties as assigned. Positions located in CA, HI, OR, and WA with in-home patient care; vaccination requirements and E-Verify participation apply.
Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS or equivalent) certification
- Valid driver’s license and must be at least 21 years of age or older
- High School Education/GED or equivalent required
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent preferred
- Two years' technical experience preferred
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or outpatient setting preferred
