Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under licensed physical therapist supervision, including modalities, manual techniques, and common exercise techniques. Educate and train patients and caregivers while assessing their learning responses. Document employee and outpatient treatments as necessary. Maintain current Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the applicable state and hold CPR or BLS certification. Work full-time across home health and hospice agencies in California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. All associates must receive required vaccinations annually.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
