Physical Therapist Assistant (Home Health)

Physical Therapist Assistant position in Home Health at Kettering Home Care. The PTA provides skilled therapy services under a Physical Therapist, helping patients regain strength, mobility, independence, and confidence in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting patients with exercises, mobility, strengthening, and functional goals; educating patients and families on therapy techniques, safety, and equipment use; observing and reporting progress to the Physical Therapist; collaborating with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team; completing timely clinical documentation per agency and Medicare guidelines; and participating in case conferences, trainings, and on-call requirements. Qualifications include a PTA license in the hiring state, at least 1 year of PTA experience in an acute care setting, valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and strong communication, time management, and documentation skills.
