Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under licensed physical therapist supervision, utilizing modalities, manual techniques, and exercise regimens. Instruct patients on functional activities including bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance. Document daily interventions and patient responses in charts while educating caregivers on treatment plans. Observe for changes in patient status and report findings to the care team. Work in home health and hospice settings across California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington, with locations including Waipahu, HI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' technical experience
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit and/or out patient setting
