Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in outpatient settings under established plans directed by a Physical Therapist; progress patients through treatment levels within their maximum capabilities; consult with supervising PT regarding progress or changes; document all treatment and pertinent patient interactions; educate patients and families on home programs; maintain effective communication with patient, family, and rehabilitation team; collaborate with teammates to grow skills and clinic culture. Requires a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and licensure or eligibility for PTA; relocation assistance available for select opportunities; CPR/First Aid or state-specific requirements may apply. Opportunities include professional development pathways such as a PTA to DPT pathway, CEUs, residency programs, leadership training, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
