Job Summary
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Collect and record patient history and progress notes while executing therapeutic activities such as exercises and stretches. Observe and document patient responses, then report changes and progress to the supervising physical therapist. Adjust treatment interventions based on patient performance and feedback. Ensure compliance with regulatory and facility requirements and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy (CAPT)
- Hold a valid State Physical Therapy License
