Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines. Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes and maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements, obtaining up-to-date physician orders. Skills in communication, organization, and mentorship alignment for new grads. This Full-Time role is based in Des Plaines, IL, within SNF/Long-Term Care settings, with immigration support for H1B candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
- Strong communication and organizational skills
