Physical Therapist Assistant

Assists a physical therapist by administering patient-care activities, implementing treatment programs, assessing patient conditions, documenting care in records, performing and guiding therapeutic exercises and functional activities (including ambulatory and activities of daily living), advising patients on use of supportive devices (crutches, canes, prostheses), and counseling on wellness and health maintenance while maintaining infection-control protocols.
