Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for administering physical therapy modalities of treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Duties include providing rehabilitative services, monitoring treatment effects, assessing patient pain, conducting evaluations, and documenting patient responses. Candidates should have knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and machine operations, as well as the ability to work with diverse patient populations. Required qualifications include an AA degree from an accredited program, current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Washington State, and current BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- AA degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Holds current certificate/licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Washington or holds compact license
- Current BLS certification
