Physical Therapist Assistant

Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision; apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions and administer rehabilitation procedures (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use); collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical practice requirements; offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders; join an in-house therapy team in a skilled nursing setting with a focus on collaboration, patient care, and professional growth.
