Job Summary
Plan and deliver specialized therapy techniques through individual or group sessions to meet IEP goals for children aged 0-22 with orthopedic impairments and developmental disorders. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapy into classroom activities and partner with a Physical Therapist to discuss and refine treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation for all student therapy sessions and progress. Support school-based caseload management, coordinate with parents to incorporate therapy into daily routines, and follow through during school breaks with time-off planning. Licensure requirements and background clearance are required; one year of PTA experience preferred. Location: Santa Ana, CA; Full-time, school-based role for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state where services are delivered
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
