Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility/Long-Term Care setting. Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing. Deliver skilled PT services/interventions under physician orders and PT supervision, respond to requests for service, implement and modify the patient’s PT plan of treatment, and document motor function, strength, and muscle performance. Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment with IDT collaboration; provide clinical support and education to patients, families, and caregivers. Ensure thorough and timely documentation compliant with regulatory requirements; participate in required meetings.
Required Qualifications
- SNF/Long term care experience preferred
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or certification
- PRN/Per diem availability
- Experience in SNF/Long-term care (preferred)
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System (preferred)
- Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
