Job Summary
Provide rehabilitation therapy procedures to patients under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist. Develop and modify treatment programs to restore maximal function, while assessing effectiveness and documenting care in compliance with department standards. Educate patients and caregivers, and train nursing staff, medical personnel, and students on rehabilitation services. Participate in ongoing process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, and program development activities. This role supports Corewell Health's mission to improve health and instill humanity within a nationally recognized health system.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree accredited physical therapy assistant program
- LIC-Physical Therapist Assistant - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines Upon Hire required
- Drug-free workplace
- Compliance with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
