Physical Therapist Assistant

Conduct initial evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and administer therapeutic exercises and modalities. Instruct patients to improve functional activities like ambulation and daily living tasks while observing treatment responses and reporting progress to the physical therapist. Fit and train patients in the use of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices such as crutches and wheelchairs. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families to promote positive customer service and ensure timely patient needs are met. Perform clerical duties as needed. This role supports a 25-bed critical access hospital in Caldwell, Texas, offering Level IV Trauma Center and stroke facility services.
