Job Summary
Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises while monitoring and documenting patient progress. Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment, educate patients and families on therapy techniques, and follow all safety and infection control protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care for residents at Springs Village Care Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred
- CPR certification is a plus
