Job Summary
Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises while monitoring and documenting patient progress. Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment, and educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises. Follow all safety and infection control protocols and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requires an associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, current state licensure, and CPR certification. Competitive hourly wage of $30-$35 paid bi-weekly with health, dental, and vision insurance options.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred
- CPR certification is a plus
