Physical Therapist Assistant

Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment. Confers regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress, questions, and concerns. Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas, reporting any issues to ensure proper function. Communicates patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record while securing special adaptive equipment to enhance rehabilitation. Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation adhering to company, facility, and regulatory requirements. Adheres to the Code of Conduct, HIPAA, and professional practice standards. Attends internal staff development programs and obtains continuing education to maintain clinical skills.
