Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides patient-centered treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement the plan of care, orients patients and families to procedures, documents pertinent information and patient conditions, and supports adherence to insurance guidelines. Responsibilities include initiating and documenting interventions, monitoring progress toward patient goals, communicating significant changes, and supporting the therapy team to achieve objectives. English proficiency, a current driver’s license, BLS certification, and ND PTA licensure are required. The role entails standing, walking, lifting, and patient care activities as part of an active clinical environment at Altru’s Grand Forks, ND location.
Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapy Assistant certification (ND Board Of Physical Therapy)
- Driver's License - current state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
