Job Summary
Provide skilled home-based physical therapy as ordered by the attending physician to patients in the Kettering area, educating patients and families, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring safety and adherence to Medicare/federal guidelines. Responsibilities include planning and delivering the Plan of Care, monitoring patient conditions, reducing pain and improving function through exercises and modalities, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, and guiding families on equipment use and care to support recovery at home. Flexible schedule with a per-visit pay model and mileage reimbursement; benefits include health insurance options, 401(k), and paid time off. Must hold an active PTA license and have at least one year of acute-care PTA experience, plus a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of employment
- Minimum one-year experience as a PTA in an acute care setting
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name as a driver
- Capable of all physical demands
