Job Summary
Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist, utilizing appropriate techniques for the patient population. Document all treatment interventions given and may coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel. Requires Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice credentialing and BLS certification. Day shift with rotating weekends at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice
- High school diploma or GED
