Job Summary
Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients while monitoring progress and documenting condition changes. Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care. Maintain strong communication skills in English to collaborate within a team-oriented environment at Park View Care Center in Wells, MN. This role offers a competitive wage of $26–$34 per hour, a $2,500 bonus, and tuition assistance for new grads.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
- Associate's degree
- current CO Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
- strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
- capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
- patient care skills
- knowledge of physiology and anatomy
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Proficient in physical therapy techniques
