Job Summary
Perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and deliver patient education aimed at improving well-being while following the established plan of care. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes to supervising PT, nurse supervisors, and physicians. Coordinate care with the healthcare team and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within your scope. Adhere to all state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home care, making recommendations for plan of care changes only to the supervising Physical Therapist. Available to work a weekend rotation with hourly pay ranging from $23.41 to $41.83.
Required Qualifications
- Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Available to work a weekend rotation
